What is the difference between corrugated and duplex boxes?
Corrugated boxes are made from corrugated board — a fluted layer bonded between flat liners — and are commonly used for shipping, storage and transit. Duplex boxes are made from paperboard and are commonly used as printed retail or product cartons. Many businesses use both: duplex cartons for the product and corrugated boxes to ship them. Can I request custom dimensions?
Yes. Custom box dimensions are one of our customization services. Share your product's measurements, or the box size you use today, and we will discuss suitable dimensions.
Can packaging be printed?
Yes, printed packaging is available to discuss. Send your artwork or a reference image and tell us what you would like printed. Specific printing methods and colour options are confirmed directly with ABI LLP for each requirement.
Can I discuss die-cutting or lamination?
Yes. Die-cutting (for specific shapes, cut-outs or layouts) and lamination (a finishing option) can both be discussed for suitable packaging. Let us know what you have in mind when you enquire.
What information should I provide when requesting a quotation?
The more we know, the more useful our response can be. Helpful details include:
- The product you are packing and how the packaging will be used
- Box type, if known (corrugated or duplex)
- Required dimensions
- Estimated quantity
- Whether you need printing, die-cutting or lamination
- Artwork or reference images, if available
